The Difference

Two Paths. You Choose.

The typical athlete sees a steady decline after 50. The Wellness Mechanics system keeps you performing well into your 80s and beyond.

The typical athlete declines steadily after 50. Wellness Mechanics keeps you performing well past 80.

The Problem

Your athletic performance is declining because your kinetic chain has kinks, weak links, and is out of sync.

Kinetic chain dysfunction doesn't have to be permanent. Your body isn't broken — it's dysfunctional. And there's a system to fix that.

  • You wake up stiff and rusty every morning
  • Your golf swing, ski run, or surf session doesn't feel the same
  • The sports you love feel like a negotiation with your body
  • Stretching isn't fixing it — you're addressing the symptom, not the source

"Your body is the machine that built everything else. The maintenance cost of keeping your kinetic chain functional is the cheapest investment you'll ever make."

— Wellness Mechanics Philosophy
The System

The Four Steps to Athletic Performance

Every Wellness Mechanics session follows a proven 4-step progression. Miss a step or do them out of order, and results won't hold.

Step 01
Restore
Fix the kinetic chain dysfunction. Restore mobility, alignment, and breathing to prepare your body for performance.
Step 02
Reinforce
Strengthen the weak links. Build the foundation of stability and endurance your kinetic chain needs to perform.
Step 03
Refine
Sync all the links. Add sport-specific movement patterns and progressively increase complexity and performance.
Step 04
Retain
Lock in your gains. Maintain results through recovery, regeneration, and sustainable athletic habits.

About Kenny

30 Years Bridging the Gap Between Rehab and High Performance

Kenny Nitta created Wellness Mechanics to fill the gap between post-rehab and high performance — the space where most athletes get left behind. After finishing physical therapy, most people are told they're "cleared" but have no roadmap back to their sport. That's the gap Kenny built this system to close.

Kenny's approach addresses the root cause of kinetic chain dysfunction — not just the symptoms — using a systematic, science-based methodology developed over three decades of working with athletes at every level.
